About the Guest
Jerome began his career not knowing he wanted to be a photographer. He joined the Navy to be a radio DJ. After months of military journalism schooling, and doing horrible in the photojournalism section of the curriculum, he thought he was going to an island with great beaches and a radio station. One thing led to another and Jerome ended up in Washington, D.C. working as a photojournalist for a military newspaper.
After a six-year stint in the Navy, Jerome moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2000 where he began working for a newspaper documenting the local community in daily news and feature images as well as long-term story projects.
In 2013, Jerome left the daily newspaper life to start his focus on his photography business full-time documenting weddings and portraits, while still maintaining a presence in the editorial realm and taking on commercial work.
