Weekend Wisdom with Skip Cohen launches with a bang!
We launched our newest podcast program “Weekend Wisdom with Skip Cohen” this past Saturday, and it's launch was a huge success! In case you missed the post and announcement, you can read it here, and if you want to actually listen to the first episode, you can find that here or in iTunes.
We love collaboration, and are excited to be working with Skip Cohen from Skip Cohen University on this exciting new podcast program. We've got some amazing interviews and discussions lined up for you, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I wanted to share a few of the kind things that our friends in the photography education industry have been saying about our new program.
You may remember a blog post I published recently where I talked about how Resource Magazine named us one of the top 18 great blogs that you should be reading. The team at Resource Magazine in New York is an incredibly forward-thinking group who care a great deal about solid photography education. I have been fortunate enough to also write a few articles for them:
We were honoured when they shared the following update on their Facebook page to 17.5 thousand photographers, promoting our Weekend Wisdom with Skip Cohen launch.
I've interviewed Scott from Photocrati for an upcoming episode of the podcast, and he and his company are doing great things in the industry as well! They've actually published a few articles on their blog where we were mentioned:
- Photography Website Factors All Photographers Should Consider
- From Content to Conversion – Tips from Sprouting Photographer
- Sprouting Photographer & Skip Cohen University Partner for new Podcast
You also may remember the article I published not too long ago, all about content marketing where I mentioned their Wedding Photography Conversion Kit.
They put out the following Facebook page post this morning to their fans about the Weekend Wisdom with Skip Cohen launch, and we're greatly appreciative of that!
You know that I love Seshu and Tiffinbox.org, it's one of the best online educational resources for photographers, and Seshu is the ultimate giver and sharer. I've published a number of articles on Tiffinbox and have collaborated with Seshu many times. He published this on Facebook the other day.
There has also been a number of mentions, shout-outs and re-tweets on Twitter about the launch. Here are a few I wanted to share with you, one of them even coming from Stitcher Radio itself!

Thank you for all of your support and generosity! We truly create this amazing content for you because we want to see you succeed in the business of photography. Keep listening, checking us out and sharing our free education, and we'll keep producing it!
Quick aside: I admin a Facebook group called Going Pro that Skip Cohen started a few months back, along with some other fantastic mentors such as Becker, Lori Nordstrom, Michael Corsentino, Roberto Valenzuela, Kevin Kubota, Sandy Puc, Jared Platt, Matthew Jordan Smith and more. If you're looking for a casual and constructive environment where you can be part of a great community and ask for help on various topics, it's a great place to be! See you over there!
